Day 01 : (Sunday - Jan 10) - Hyderabad
AM : Arrive Hyderabad and on arrival meet, greet and transfer to hotel. Remainder of the morning at leisure.
PM : Visit to the Charminar, Lad Bazaar, Mecca Masjid and Salaharjung Museum.

Day 02 : (Monday - Jan 11) - Hyderabad
AM : After breakfast excursion to Golconda Fort, famous for its diamond mines and nearby Qutab Shahi tombs.
PM : Exploring the Hyderabad of "White Mughals" with the old residency and newly restored Nizam's Falaknuma Palace, now part of the Taj hotel chain.

Day 03 : (Tuesday - Jan 12) - Bijapur
After an early breakfast drive to Bijapur (around 10 hrs). There will be a lunch break and a stop en route to visit the fort and tombs of the Badmani kings in Gulbarga, including the Jamma Masjid.

Day 04 : (Wednesday - Jan 13) - Bijapur
Spend the full day exploring Bijapur, visiting Gol Gumbaz, which has the second largest dome in the world, after St Peter's in Rome. You also visit the tomb of Ibrahim Roza and that of Mohammed Adil Shah.

Day 05 : (Thursday - Jan 14) - Badami
Morning drive to Badami, which is likely to take in the region of 3 hours Check in on arrival to the Badami Court hotel before walking amid the red sandstone hills to the hill-top temples, rock cut shrines and the cave temples, which date back to 6th century AD.

Day 06 : (Friday - jan 15) - Aihole and Pattadakal
Excursion to Aihole and Pattadakal, which was the first capital of the Chalukyan Empire. After lunch, continue exploring the temples, including the world heritage site of Pattadakal.

Day 07 : (Saturday - Jan 16) - Aihole and Pattadakal
Drive around 04 hours across the Deccan Plateau to Hospet, by the Tungabdhadra Reservoir. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 08 : (Sunday - Jan 17) - Hampi
Explore (mostly on foot) the extensive ruins of Hampi, capital of the Vijayanagar Empire. The main Hindu temple, Virupaksha, is dominated by a 160 foot high gopuram. Take lunch overlooking the river before returning to your hotel.

Day 09 : (Monday - Jan 18) - Bangalore
Drive to Bangalore and check into hotel on arrival. Rest of the day free for shopping or at leisure.

Day 10 : (Tuesday - Jan 19) - Bangalore
Full day city tour of Bangalore visiting the must see places like Lal Bagh, Botanical Garden, Tipu Summer Palace, Bull Temple and Iskcon Temple.

Day 11 : (Wednesday - Jan 20 - Bangalore
Free in Bangalore.

Day 12 : (Thursday - Jan 21) - Mysore
AM : Drive to Mysore and check into hotel.
PM : Visit to Brindavan Gardens and Devaraja market.

Day 13 : (Friday - Jan 22) - Mysore
ull day Mysore city tour covering Maharaja Palace, Jaganmohan Palace and Chamundi Hills.

Day 14 : (Saturday - Jan 23) - Ooty
AM : Drive to Ooty and check into hotel.
PM : Visit to Botanical Garden and lake.

Day 15 : (Sunday - Jan 24) - Coonoor
After breakfast drive to Coonoor. Visit must see places in Coonoor and later take the toy train to Ketty. Visit some Badagas Villages here.

Day 16 : (Monday - Jan 25) - Coonoor
Full day visit to the Badagas village, Toda villages and walk around the Paddy, Potato, Cabbage cultivation fields.

Day 17 : (Tuesday - Jan 26) - Mudumalai
AM : Drive to Mudumalai and enroute visit tribal villages. Check into hotel. Later visit some Irula and Kurumbas tribes at Bokkapuram.
PM : Visit to the Mudumalai forest for wildlife viewing. Later in the evening witness a tribal dance.

Day 18 : (Wednesday - Jan 27) - Wayanad
AM : Drive to Wayanad area and check into resort.
PM : Visit rainforest area and also visit tribal villages of the Uruli Kurumbas. Evening witness folk dance.

Day 19 : (Thursday - Jan 28) - Wayanad
Full day visit to the tribal villages of the Paniyas, Irulas and Kurumbas to see their life style and culture.

Day 20 : (Friday - Jan 29) - Bangalore
AM : Wake up at leisure and after breakfast drive to Calicut.
PM : After lunch drive to Cochin and check in hotel on arrival.

Day 21 : (Saturday - Jan 30) - Alleppey
AM : Drive to Alleppey Jetty and check into houseboat at noon.
PM : Cruising in the backwater of the Vembanad Lake

Day 22 : (Sunday - Jan 31) - Cochin
AM : After breakfast disembark from houseboat and drive to Cochin, check into hotel.
PM : City tour covering Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Village.

Day 23 : (Monday - Feb 01) - Thekkady - Periyar
AM : Drive to Thekkady and check into hotel on arrival..
PM : Visit to the Periyar sanctuary by motorised boat to view Wildlife.

Day 24 : (Tuesday - Feb 02) - Madurai
AM : After breakfast drive to Madurai and check into hotel on arrival.
PM : Visit to Tirumalai Nayakar Palace, Maraiamman Teppakulam and later in the evening witness night ceremony at Meenakshi Temple.

Day 25 : (Wednesday - Feb 03) - Trichy
AM : Drive to Trichy after breakfast and check into hotel on arrival.
PM : Drive to Srirangam and visit Lord Ranganathaswami temple which has the tallest temple tower for any South Indian type temples. Later visit the Rock Fort Temple.

Day 26 : (Thursday - Feb 04) - Tanjore
AM : Drive to Tanjore and check into hotel on arrival.
PM : Visit The Big Temple, which is an enginerring marvel, Airatesvara Temple, Museum and Tanjore Art Gallery.

Day 27 : (Friday - Feb 05) - Chidambaram - Pondicherry
AM : Drive to Chidambaram and visit Nataraja Temple - known for Lord Shiva's cosmic dance.
PM : Drive to Pondicherry and check into hotel.

Day 28 : (Saturday - Feb 06) - Mammallapuram
AM : After breakfast visit Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville.
PM : Drive to Mammallapuram and check into hotel on arrival. Enroute visit Marakanam -where wooden boats are built.

Day 29 : (Sunday - Feb 07) - Mammallapuram
ake a full day walking tour and visit Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, Arujana's Penance - the world's largest bass relief and Rock cut caves in Mammal lapuram, which dates back to the 7th century. Evening free to relax on the beach.

Day 30 : (Monday - Feb 08) - Chennai
AM : Drive to Chennai and free for shopping.
PM : Transfer to Anna International Airport late in the night to board flight for onward destination.
