Day 01 : Chennai
AM : Arrive in Chennai and transfer to hotel.
PM : Later sightseeing tour covering Museum, Snake Park, Kapaleeswarar Temple, Marina Beach and Santhome Basilica.

Day 02 : Chennai - Mamallapuram - Pondicherry
AM : Drive to Mamallapuram (the Seat of Power of the Pallava Dynasty) and visit The Bass relief of Arjuna's Penance, the Five Rathas dedicated to the five Pandava brothers of Mahabarath fame, Craftsmen centers and Shore temple.
PM : Drive to Pondicherry and visit Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Matri Mandir, a beautifully designed hall for meditation.

Day 03 : Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Thanjavur
Drive to Thanjavur via Chidambaram. Visit the famous Nataraja Temple (temple famous for Shiva's Cosmic dance) and GangaiKonda CholaPuram, known for its architecture.

Day 04 : Thanjavur - Trichy
AM : Visit to the Brihadeeshwara Temple also known as the Big Temple. Built by the Great Raja Raja Chola, this temple is again an architectural Masterpiece. Also visit the Tanjore Art Gallery and Saraswathi Mahal Library.
PM : Drive to Trichy and check into hotel. Later Visit to the famous Lord Ranganathaswami Temple at Srirangam.This temple has the tallest Gopuram ('lower) in the world for any typical South Indian Temple. Also, visit the Rock fort Temple better known as Uchhipillayar Koil.

Day 05 : Trichy - Madurai
AM : Drive to Madurai and check into hotel.
PM : Visit the most famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam and Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal for Sound & Light show which relates the story of the Tamil epic, Shilapaddikaram, and the history of the Nayaks.

Day 06 : Madurai - Thekkady
AM : Drive to Thekkady and upon arrival check into hotel.
PM : Visit Periyar Game Sanctuary by the Forest Department's motorized boat.

Day 07 : Thekkady - Kovalam
Drive to Kovalam and check into hotel. Enroute visit the Padmanaba Temple, Veli Tourist Village and Chitra Art Gallery. Rest of the evening free on the beach.

Day 08 : Kovalam - Alleppey
AM : Drive to Alleppey and check into hotel.
PM : Embark on a motor boat and cruise till twilight getting into smaller canals and seeing some interesting villages.

Day 09 : Alleppey - Cochin
Drive to Kochi and upon arrival check into hotel. Later in the evening witness a Katha Kali Dance show.

Day 10 : Cochin
Half-a-day sightseeing tour covering Jewish Synagogue constructed in 1568, Dutch Palace with its wonderful Murals depicting the entire story of Ramayana and Mahabharata on its wall, St.Francis Church and Chinese fishing net. Afternoon free for shopping.

Day 11 : Cochin - Ooty
After breakfast drive to Ooty, the Queen of Hills. Upon arrival check into hotel. Enroute visit the Badagas Village at Ketty.

Day 12 : Ooty - Mysore
AM : City Tour including visit to Botanical gardens.
PM : Drive to Mysore and check into hotel. Enroute visit some interesting villages.

Day 13 : Mysore
Full day sightseeing tour covering Mysore St. Philomena's Church, Chamundi Hills, Maharaja's palace, Art gallery. Later in the evening visit illuminated Brindavan Gardens.

Day 14 : Mysore - Hassan
AM : Drive to Hassan and check into hotel.
PM : Visit to the 11century temple of Belur and Halebid.

Day 15 : Hassan - Bangalore
Drive to Bangalore via Shravanabelegola. Rest of the evening free.

Day 16 : Bangalore - Chennai
AM : City tour covering Vidhan Soudha, The Bull Temple, Tipu's Palace and the Hazarat Dargah.
PM : Board train no. 2640 Brindavan Express at 1442 hrs. Arrive Chennai at 2015 hrs. On arrival pick up and transfer to international airport to board flight for Italy.
